Jesus is Our Defense

Each day we walk through the Bible chapter by chapter making an application of our text to help us grow in the Lord. Many applications can be made from each day's text. Today we continue in

the book of Acts Chapter 24. In our text today we see Paul appears before Felix as the accusers bring their false accusations against Paul. In His defense Paul speaks Christ and the accusations fail and Felix is convicted as he sees himself a sinner. In making application we see that Jesus is our defense as it is Him, and the Power of His Word, that fights our battles. How about you? Do you face persecution? Let us learn from our text today and the example of Christ working through Paul's life to see that Jesus is our Defense and if we speak His Words we will be able to fight off our enemies as we share the Gospel.
